A nice clear mat with a good space for all of the armies. It is a little thinner than most but coming with a very sturdy storage tube is a big plus.
It is a good mat, have yet to play a game with it. It is MASSIVE which is why I bought it. But I do wish that it was a little thicker and that the edges were stitched for extra durability and a nicer feel though.
I was happy to get this during a black Friday sale. I've often felt the board was a bit cramped for the amount of pieces you get on it.
That said, for a mat labelled as "deluxe" I was a bit disappointed. There's no stitching on the edges to keep the material from fraying, and it's very thin. Closer to cloth thickness than what I expect from a neoprene mat. It's too thin to provide any help in picking up cards.
Either way, I have it now, and I'm happy to have it for the size if nothing else.
This mat is well worth the price. Having a larger map reduces clutter and crowding (plus, it's easier to read the place names). Bonus: Adding 3D mountains really makes it come to life.
