My Very First Games - Here Fishy Fishy

My brothers and I grew up loving the classic(?) Hook, Line, and Stinker. My daughter's first game was the exceptional My First Orchard. When my son was born, we added this. Overall, it is the tremendous quality we expect from HABA. The sea creature blocks are hefty. The fishing pole and magnetic worm pick them up easily. We has a lot of fun rolling the die and trying to catch that fish. There are also some thick cardboard cutouts in which you are supposed to complete a puzzle based on the fish you catch. Honestly, the kids never had any interest in that. They just wanted to catch the fish. And they did. A lot. So, the game part did not really happen, but the fishing and the smiles did! We will be passing this along to the next generation.
