Description
Insert compatible with Clans of Caledonia®. The design provides both efficient storage and improved game play. Many of the trays can be utilised during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The rules and boards act as a lid on top of the trays.

This product consists of a flat-pack of 3 Evacore sheets. The trays require assembly, which is quick and fun, using ordinary PVA glue. Detailed instructions are included in the package.

Note: Insert designed for game with external box dimensions of 22.4 x 31.1 x 5.0 cm. Also, the insert is designed for the original version of the game with player boards sized 10 x 20 cm. It does not work with the latest print release of the game that has player boards sized 13 x 20 cm. Please check you edition.

A worthwhile investment

With so many components in such a small box, having an organizer is very helpful, not just for set up and gameplay, but for ensuring that everything fits back in when the game is over. Folded Space has done a great job of designing an organizer that is inexpensive but useful. As with any organizer with multiple layers, it is necessary to fiddle with the larger wooden components (I'm looking at you, whiskey barrels) to ensure that they sit in such a way that the next layer can nestle against them and hold them in place. Does the organizer allow for the game to be stored vertically? It is still necessary to have it within a space in your storage that other games will hold the lid tightly against the bottom, otherwise, the boards inside may shift, allowing tokens to move around.
I don't believe that this is something that the designers of this organizer could have accommodated, as the game boards are not sized the same, and the map tiles have irregular edges. There is only so much that is capable within the design space they have. As such, I would highly recommend this organizer, along with a bottle of wood glue.
