Worst Crossover Pack, but still a worthy buy.

The new game variant is interesting, but less good than regular play. One secret bad guy is trying to make the main deck run out while the others are trying to clear three missions. It takes much longer to play than other variants. The main deck cards primarily help with destroying the lineup to run through the main deck. Most of them can be used in regular games but usually are substantially better for some players than others.

The Super Hero cards are very fun and mix well with any other playstyle though!

A fun variant, but doesn't shuffle into your regular game

In this expansion/variant to the DC Deck Building, the players are working co-op against specific challenges. Unknown to the table is the one player who has been marked as the Mastermind and who is secretly working against the rest. Once the Mastermind is revealed, it is a race to the finish with the main deck as the timer.
The game play is fun and there's a fun wrinkle to the new main deck cards - all of the cards are incredibly destructive every time they are played. Like a monkey's paw, they give a lot of power or bonuses but burn cards quickly from the main deck. The strategy is to either destroy or negate these cards and keep them out of the hands of the Mastermind.

Combining with regular play: I knocked off 1 star from the total because while it's a really fun variant, you can't/shouldn't incorporate any of the 11 new main deck cards into your regular play. The over-sized hero cards are fine to sort in, and there are no supervillains in this variant.
