Absolutely fantastic game. Great at 3 player and excellent at 4. Worth every penny and balanced incredibly well.
Stonemaier has hit it out of the park again. Easy to teach and learn but with some strategy involved with subsequent games. Also, folks at Boardgame Bliss were lovely.
I know what you're thinking, 'They're dice? Who cares?' Look. I've been using random dice cobbled together from a giant bag of wizkids afterbirths from Amazon for years and finally decided to get myself some proper ones. I researched and researched and finally settled on these because, frankly, the price was right and what I had heard is that they're quite good.
Yes, they're good. No, they aren't legendary. They do exactly what I expected from them which is roll nicely and have a decent weight to them and don't feel 'cheap'.
If you're reading this I don't know what to say but the gist is that if you are using cheap shitty dice and are over it but don't want to spend $150 on some artisanal set that you're afraid to roll because they're basically art pieces that may splinter and chip your table, these are for you.
They represent a decent step up from your average bag o dice that many like myself have been using. Only issue is that if you're playing D&D or whatever with them, you are probably going to need to get two sets to make your life easier, otherwise you're going to be chucking the usual suspects more than you'd like.
SPOTS is a great little game where you roll dice to match pips to dogs' spots and seeing just how far you can go before you lose everything again and again. Solo mode is challenging, and competitive play is equally fun. Also, there's a dog who only has one spot and it is his butthole. 5/5
