I've played a decent amount of the video game, and this captures everything I love about it and expands it into a co-op game. Easy to learn even for my friends who were unfamiliar with the IP, and has tons of replay value. I highly recommend it.
I previously played Escape from the Dark Castle but I’m glad to have picked Escape from the Dark Sector as the first themeborne game I own. The ranged mechanic adds a lot on top of interesting options of the base game mechanic introduced in Escape from the Dark Castle. My friends and family have been loving playing this game and exploring the many scenario cards that get everyone involved in the high stakes escape! I can’t wait to play more so I can look into the expansions in the future :)
