The current copies of HHH that are sold now are the 3rd edition published by Sparkworks under the Tabletop Tycoon umbrella. The 3rd edition is printed with die-cut counters, new gameplay leading to a shorter time-frame, and new art. This version still plays up to 5 players, but all 5 can take a doctor; administrator is still used but a single player will not play that individual. The administrator actions have been streamlined, but also added to with a new research action that is completely new to this version. Minus the art style, after over 100 plays of the third version, I have grown to enjoy this version over the previous versions. I hope you enjoy it too.

Please allow me to disagree with the previous one-star review. This is an excellent Euro game. It has very clever mechanisms with a surprisingly thematic simulation of a hospital macroscopic management.I can understand why the components would look like a prototype. The first edition of this game was made with laser-cut counters and a paper board, similar to other VPG titles. It was still an excellent, fully developed game (like most VPG titles) and in no way a prototype. The version BGB has in stock now is the new version (the "Premiere Line" edition), with a mounted board and die-cut counters. Great components with an excellent gameplay. One of my favorites.

Some good ideas but the entire game feels like an unfinished product. Components and gameplay both are still in the prototype stage. This is clearly an unfinished product.
