Once the hanseatic city of Lübeck has been the reloading point for goods for the whole region of the north and Baltic sea. In the 14th century, Lübeck ranked among Rome, Pisa, Florence and Venice as one of the five glories of the Roman empire.
Lübeck is central point and place of departure of this strategic family game for 3 up to 5 players aged 8 +. From there, a cog either with one or more players on board will start its turn around the north / Baltic sea. In each playing round the gamers are choosing tradecards for different trade towns mentioned above. They only can be played out there. To get there, each cog can be moved in each round. While reaching the town mentioned on a card, the card can be played and the player will get the money for the goods mentioned above. But as you never know what kind of action the other players have in mind, it will never be sure that you will be able to play out the cards as planned. And after each round, only 3 cards can be hold in each players hand, the rest has to be discarded and you will get minus points as result. All points will be carried on the valuation border.
Approx. 30 min. later, the one who planned forward as the best and therefore will be the first on the valuation border will be known.
