Expansion for  Imhotep

Imhotep: Eine neue Dynastie adds five new places, fourteen market cards, seven god cards, four chariots, and 56 tiles to the Imhotep base game. God cards let players predict the progress of different buildings, with them being rewarded at the end of the game if they're correct and otherwise being punished.

Great Addition to the Base Game

Adds plenty of more options and variability to the game. It definitely added to our enjoyment of the game.

Makes the game a lot more fun for us

The increased options the expansion offers are variable enough so that for our family the game is simply better - it made a big difference for how much we enjoy the game. So much so that I would not play the game without the expansion. I personally had found the base game a bit, well, boring without it.

Adds more but not better

This expansion certainly expands Imhotep and adds a bunch more to the game. Unfortunately for me, it didn't really improve the game. I liked some parts and disliked others. If you're a huge fan of Imhotep then maybe this purchase is a no brainer... but at the same time if you're that huge of a fan, you might not want to change the game. In the end I don't mind it, don't always play with it, and was glad it was a gift and not something I purchased.
