Just a great game. You can play with the expansions or not - but the big box is basically the base game and an expansion…. This keeps it all together and gives you so much!

Good value

Recommend buying this if you are just getting into carcassonne. I waited to buy as wasn’t sure if we would find to easy after getting into other games. But I really like tile games and have not registered getting this. Have really enjoyed adding the different expansions.

Worth it

I like the big box. I think it's great bang for your buck. The only thing I dislike is the amount of wasted space inside the box. All of the contents could easily fit inside a smaller box.
