Everyone is talking about it all over the country! At the castle of King Benjamin, the bravest knights are taking part in the grandest tournament of all times. There is rumbling and thumping in every corner of the castle. One by one, the knights are thrown inside the castle. The die is thrown and whoever rolls the right symbol may open the door of the castle. The knights tumble out and some may fall into the deep pits, forcing this player's turn to end. Who will have the most knights at the end of the game?

My son enjoyed watching the wooden "bowling pin" fall out of the tower and into the traps on the fields, but really there is no game here. A die roll determines whether you add nights to the tower or let them tumble. There are no decisions, and nothing substantially learned. We have a lot of HABA games, but this one really doesn't qualify. For a similar level of roll-and-do that has more counting and teaches thinking through all options, but still has an exciting action element, I would recommend Feuerdrachen (aka Fire Dragon).
