Once there was a pact between the humans and the Sentinels: Should the Oni reappear, the pandas will also return. Even though people have forgotten about this pact, the Sentinels continue to abide by it. But they no longer protect people, but life itself. So they return from the Jade forests and go into battle against the Oni.
This new faction for Tsukuyumi - Full Moon Down wins the game immediately when there are no more Oni on the field. The Sentinels are changing the game a lot, so they have to adapt all players to this new faction and develop new strategies.
