A secret agent of A.R.K. has infiltrated a top secret Raxxon facility, attempting to complete three mission objectives before they escape — but they are hunted by genetically modified Raxxon Hunters. Players can choose which side they wish to join.

Specter Ops is a sci-fi, stealth ops game of hidden movement that's similar to Scotland Yard. Players are trying to locate/capture a mysterious agent, who keeps track of their sneaking via a private map. The other players take control of unique characters who must use their wits, abilities and technology to help them hunt down this infiltrator. Items like flash grenades, scanners, and the like are at the disposal of this covert agent.

4 Players or Less

This is like the board game equivalent of "Hide and Go Seek". An asymmetrical game where one player uses a pen to mark their movements on a sheet of paper (with the layout of the board printed on it), while other players are using abilities and strategies to track the hidden player down. Different abilities for all players keep the game replayability pretty high, and keeps the "seekers" guessing.
I HIGHLY recommend not playing the 5 player variant though. Stick to 4 players or less. The 5th player is a double agent that feeds false information to the seekers. I played this mode once, and it was NOT fun, and in my opinion, makes it very unbalanced in favour of the stealth player(s).

Fun, tactical and surprisingly simple.

Specter Ops gives you a cyberpunk-espionage experience for 2-5 players, although personally the best player count is 5 since it gives you access to the game's most unique feature (the traitor). A typical game of Specter Ops will have the "Agent" character sweating as they carefully plan their hidden dance across the board, recorded secretly on a separate sheet of paper. The "Hunters" meanwhile must play a game of deduction, using variable class powers to track the Agent as they dart down narrow corridors and lay traps for their pursuers.
