Core Worlds: Nemesis is the official solo version of the Core Worlds deck-building game. Play against the AI-driven Nemesis Empire during your bid to conquer the Core Worlds. The Nemesis is represented by a special deck of cards that simulates play against a human player, including anticipating which worlds the Nemesis is targeting in each sector and which Core Worlds the Nemesis is planning to conquer as it drafts cards throughout the game.

Worth It Even Just For the Promos

The solo play deck is very easy to use as an add-on; not finicky at all. I'm not a fan of solo play at all, though, so that's a bonus -- the real gem of this set is the inclusion of *every* promo card for Core Worlds -- all of them. Honestly, I had nearly all of them already and *still* bought this package, because "nearly" meant I hadn't ever gotten the otherwise almost impossible to find promo set of Pre-Game draft cards -- there are 10 and all are top-notch, but almost lost to time because they and Champion of Ra (a 1-card promo) were rewards for a poorly advertised and frankly stupid Kickstarter attempt to make a Core Worlds digital game, and the very dumb decision was made to make physical cards a totally exclusive promo for this *digital* item -- duh. Thus, this is basically the only way to get those cards, and you get every other promo, too. A great problem solver -- plus a nice AI deck for solo play -- for an overlooked but excellent, immersive deckbuilder.
