Description from the publisher:

Fallout is a post-nuclear adventure board game for one to four players. Based on the hit video game series by Bethesda Softworks, each Fallout scenario is inspired by a familiar story from the franchise. Survivors begin the game on the edge of an unexplored landscape, uncertain of what awaits them in this unfamiliar world. With just one objective to guide them from the very beginning, each player must explore the hidden map, fight ferocious enemies, and build the skills of their survivor as they attempt to complete challenging quests and balance feuding factions within the game.

As they advance their survivors' stories, players come across new quests and individual targets, leading them to gain influence. Who comes out ahead depends on how keenly and aggressively each player ventures through the game; however, if a single faction is pushed to power too quickly, the wasteland will be taken for their own, and the survivors conquered along with it.

Fun adventures

I'm playing this solo and am really enjoying the story you get pulled into. It's fairly quick to learn and I love how the combat is smooth in that it's quick/simple and doesn't pull you out of the story and there are ways to mitigate dice rolls with equipment, etc. I've already gotten the New California expansion and can't wait to try its expanded maps and co-op mode.

Like Dungeons and Dragons but without the thinking

Unless you have a group of friends who are really into board games (and a comfortable place to play them) this board game may not be for you, the games can be very short or long, depending on story choices that have been made, as not only the player can win but the board game can win aswell, It could've been better imo as you easily lose track of what you were doing, the combat is all luck based as it is the roll of a few dice that determine whether you win or lose, there is no pvp, which would've been fun, and also not all the rules are clear like how armour works, do you negate x amount from the total amount of damage or from the damage ticks rolled, some rules even contradict themselves between the two book there are, it also would've been nice to have card trays that came with the game as there is quite a few to keep track ofAll in all it's a nice game if you have the time and friends to play it with, atleast 3 players is my recommendation
