It didn't quite click with my non-gamer friends. But works well with slightly experienced players who understand basic trick-taking and tableau building mechanics. The solo mode is a bit barebone, but still managed to simulate multiplayer game without much overhead. The scoring method to cartographer, which again is not complicated, but may put off some trick-taking players.
I like having a certain amount of resources to spend every turn and having a bunch of different things to spend them on. Fast turns, great decisions
