Fliptown: The Outskirts – Mini-Expansion Fliptown: The Lone Gun |
Fliptown is a flip-and-write game in which you are trying to earn stars by exploring a wild west town. The game uses a standard poker deck to drive an open world-style of game play, along with dry erase boards that serve as each player's map.
Each turn, flip over three cards, assigning one card to represent your suit, one card to represent your value, and one card to represent your poker card. The suit dictates which of four regions you activate, the value dictates which site within that region you get to circle, and the poker card goes toward a five-card poker hand that is resolved at the end of each round. Each of the four regions — Trail, Badlands, Mine, and Town — offers a different puzzle to master, while each site within a region provides a unique reward such as cash, gold, helpful items like guns, horses and tools, or bonus actions to create powerful combinations.
For solo play, you can play to achieve a high score or compete against one of four "cowbot" robot opponents, each with its own motivation.
For multiplayer play, players use "community cards" in the center of play, with players resolving each turn simultaneously. Additionally, bounty cards add competitive goals that players are racing to achieve.
In addition to the standard game, you can play as one of 14 wild west characters. Each character has a unique set of starting resources and a unique special ability.

ROVE: Results-Oriented Versatile Explorer |
Sometimes even the familiar can be alien. As a ROVE (Results-Oriented Versatile Explorer) you are accustomed to the rigors of space, but the impenetrable darkness of the ocean depths is a brand-new challenge to confront.
Aqua ROVE is a standalone entry in the ROVE series. In this solo spatial puzzler, the player must complete missions by using their movement cards to align ROVE’s modules in the proper pattern. Each module has a unique one-time ability that can give ROVE a much-needed boost at a key moment. As ROVE travels further, efficient use of movement points and module abilities becomes paramount to achieve success.
Experienced ROVE players will notice that there are a few changes in Aqua ROVE. For one, movement cards no longer provide generic points that are limited by the modules’ movement restrictions. Instead, each card provides both the points and the direction of movement, providing a major twist to the original gameplay. All modules have been replaced with new abilities to match this change. However, each pattern now requires two specific fixed modules to complete rather than one. And as befits an ocean adventure, ROVE’s missions are now placed vertically rather than horizontally to create a beautiful panorama of your descent.

"The Battle of Versailles" was a fashion show held in 1973 in Versailles, France that pitted five American designers against five French designers. The American designers, including Anne Klein, Halston, Oscar de la Renta, Stephen Burrows, and Bill Blass, were considered to be more innovative and less traditional than the French designers: Yves Saint Laurent, Hubert de Givenchy, Emanuel Ungaro, Pierre Cardin, and Christian Dior. The American designers ended up winning the competition and solidifying their place in the fashion world. The event was widely covered in the media, and is considered a turning point in the history of fashion.
In the game The Battle of Versailles, players take the role of either the France or U.S. team, facing one another by playing action cards to show off their best dresses, to attract the most popular celebrities, or to annoy the opponent by spreading bad gossip. They also compete to contribute more than their opponent to the reconstruction of the palace of Versailles.
The French player has five actions per round, representing the classic but overly-long show (2h 30min) that it put on, while the American player has only three actions per round as their show was fresh, innovative, and short (only 37min). Correspondingly, the game has different victory conditions:

In Black Forest, you start out with a small domain in need of new buildings and livestock. You’ll travel from village to village to enlist the aid of the best specialists. Exploiting the abilities of these specialists lets you collect resources, lay out new landscape tiles (e.g., ponds and fields), and build a variety of buildings, which come in four types:
"Immediate" buildings with a one-time effect
Processing buildings and buildings with an ongoing effect
Buildings that provide bonus points at the end of the game for various accomplishments
Choose the right buildings, place landscapes, fire up your glass production, and expand your domain.
Two resource wheels on your tableau help you keep track of your resources and production.
A wide selection of buildings and their different effects offer many different paths to victory.
Uwe Rosenberg’s legendary resource wheels are making once again making their presence, made famous in Glass Road (2013). Black Forest continues the story - as the name suggests — in the Black Forest. Among others, the main difference between the two games is the the action selection (Worker Placement/Black Forest vs. Simultaneous Action Selection/Glass Road).

There is a bomb full of wires and the countdown has started... Who are you gonna call? YOU, the Bomb Busters!
To clear the bomb, you need to collaborate with your team of bomb disposal experts! Using the wires on the tile holder in front of you, try and figure out your teammates’ wires. Find and cut identical wires, but watch out, if you cut a red wire: BOOM! Use your equipment wisely to meet the varied challenges which get harder and harder.
Tick tock tick tock... Will you figure it out before it’s too late?
With 66 missions, there will be:
=> 66 different ways to play depending on your moods (in order, by level of difficulty, favourite configuration…)
=> 66 challenges to play over and over (even if you already blew your top!)
=> Plenty of tricky bombs which become more and more dangerous (but don’t get cut up about it!)
Gameplay
There is a set of 48 normal wires numbered 1-12 (4 of each value). Then, you add some yellow and red wires and deal them all to the players.
Each mission is different, but your goal is always the same: go through all 12 numbers without blowing up!
The players place the tiles on their stands and then take turns pointing at each others’ wires and guessing their values. If the guess is correct, the wires are cut. If not — the detonator advances!
If you manage to cut all wires without blowing up — good job, the mission is completed, but if the bomb goes off... Try again!

Snow White, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, and many other fairy tale princesses are celebrating a five-day party. The prince charmings, who have not been invited, will try to infiltrate the ball to propose marriage to the girls. As a princess, you have to avoid marriage proposals and remain single and independent after the celebrations.
Rebel Princess takes place over five rounds, representing the five days of a party, and each round has a special rule that makes each game totally different. The general mechanisms are those of trick-taking games, in which each player plays a numbered card into each trick, following one of the four suits in the game. The player with the highest number of the suit that started the trick takes all the cards of that trick — but that's not necessarily good as players want to avoid taking cards with prince charmings, who each bring one marriage proposal, aside from the enchanted frog who brings five proposals. The player with the fewest marriage proposals after five rounds wins.
Importantly, each player assumes the role of a different fairy tale princess and has a special ability that they can use once per round.
Compared to the original edition, Rebel Princess Deluxe Edition features:
Two new Princesses and new new Round cards
Princess cards upgraded to thick punchboard tiles
Round cards upgraded to Tarot-sized cards with rules text on each card
Balance tweaks to existing rules, rounds, and princesses
A new "Rebel of the Ball" mechanism to allow players to catch up if they are falling too far behind

Of all the streets of the Eixample, Passeig de Gràcia is the most iconic. First, it was just a road connecting Barcelona and the former town of Gràcia, now a major district of Barcelona. It became a promenade where Barcelona’s citizens went to relax, and was filled with restaurants, coffee shops, ballrooms, theaters, parks, and even rollercoasters. Unfortunately, these amenities were only available to the upper and middle classes, as they were often part of private gardens.
When construction of the Eixample started, all of these features were removed to make room for buildings, but it did not diminish Passeig de Gràcia importance. Many rich citizens decided to build their houses there, hiring the most famous modernist architects, who created some of the most iconic landmarks of the city.
Barcelona: Passeig de Gràcia is an expansion for Barcelona and thus you need a copy of the base game to play it. The new elements brought by this expansion are Pedestrians who walk along the Passeig de Gràcia enjoying various amenities there. The more pleasant their walk, the bigger the rewards you gain once they reach their destination.

Round up your gang and get ready to pull off a series of bank heists using the power of poker!
In The Gang, a co-operative version of Texas Hold'em, players bet on how good they think their hand of cards will be relative to the other players, then try to make their predictions a reality.
Early in a round, without talking to each other, each player chooses a chip indicating how good they think their hand is. Then they begin dealing cards into the middle of the table and have a chance to reassess their hands as more cards are revealed. At the end of the round, players see whether they correctly evaluated their hand. If all players did, you get to open one of the bank vaults! If not, you trip the alarm! If you manage to open three vaults before you trip the alarm three times, your gang wins!
