The Confederate Rebellion is a solitaire wargame (with optional two player rules) on the American Civil War. The game is based on ACW Solitaire but contains updated and new rules, clarifications, new artwork, and new scenarios.

In the solitaire game, the player controls the Union forces and the Rebellion is controlled by an AI. The game takes place over an unspecified number of turns. Play continues until either the victory or defeat conditions are met.

Each turn follows this sequence of play:

Union Build Phase: The Union player builds units (Armies, Gunboats, General, Fleet, Forts) during this phase. In addition, a Union General may be sacked.
Union Move Phase: Union units may move Regions this phase.
Union Combat Phase: Any combat resulting from Union movement is resolved.
Rebel Build Phase: The Rebels may build units as permitted by certain circumstances.
Rebel Move Phase: Rebel Generals may move as permitted by die roll.
Rebel Combat Phase. Any combat resulting from Rebel movement is resolved.

The goal of the game is to prevent the Rebellion from having resources available to build and maintain their army. Once this achieved, the Union player wins. If the Rebellion ever controls four Union areas or Washington DC, the Union player loses.

The game is a strategic dice rolling game of conquest covering the French and Indian War in North America with a British Player and a French Player. Two players can play a side if desired. Players attempt to conquer locations on the game map. Each location has a corresponding tile which has information on what dice need to be rolled to conquer the tile somewhat similar to Age of Wars. Event cards are played for each player each turn which provide benefits and detriments to the player. There is also a strategic phase where the player can muster some garrisons for key locations making them harder to take. Although there are automatic victory conditions for capture of specified locations, victory is generally achieved by conquering a certain number of locations.

While the sides are somewhat evenly matched, as the game progresses the British player generally gains in strength and the French player must make defensive attacks and play for position. A special naval die for each side allows for potential naval moves each turn.

The game contains a 11 x 17 strategic map, 32 Location Tiles, 20 event cards, 32 game counters and 17 icon dice. The game allows you to re-fight the struggle for North America between the British and the French.

A low complexity hex and counter game on the battle outside Quebec in 1759 between the British and French. Counters indicate unit type and nationality, attack factor, range, defense factor and movement factor.

The game uses cards to regulate the number of moves and attacks each turn as well as providing special rules, penalties or reinforcements in effect for a player's turn. Each side has its own deck of 8 cards. Counters represent military units and formations at the battle.

Play continues until one side or the other achieves its victory conditions. The cards allow for the possibility of available reinforcements reaching the battle in time to make a difference.

Vietnam Solitaire Special Edition is an expanded edition of the original Vietnam Solitaire that contains both the original game (with all new artwork) and a reimplementation by Steve Kling with expanded rules, new scenarios, and new counters. While primarily a solitaire game, the special edition also contains optional two player rules.

In the Special Edition, the player controls US and South Vietnamese forces and must battle the Vietcong and North Vietnamese Army to control as many regions of Vietnam as possible. The game is played by deploying US and South Vietnamese forces, napalm, and air units on a map of Vietnam. The AI (or an optional second player) controls the North Vietnamese forces through movement and attack rules.

Victory is determined by controlling at least three regions of Vietnam for a majority of the game. Unlike in the original game, the eventual victory of the North Vietnamese is not a foregone conclusion.

The Special Edition contains new types of units, a greater variety of of combat points, and two new scenarios - "Tet 1968" and "Fall of South Vietnam".
