Furriarty is terrorizing London, and it's up to Purrrlock Holmes to stop him before he completes his plans and escapes!

However, Purrrlock cannot do it alone and you, as a newly inducted Inspector at Scotland Pound, must help bust members of Furriarty's gang in order to help Purrrlock get closer to the bewhiskered baddie that's been bullying all of Baker Street. Get ready Inspector, as Purrrlock Holmes: Furriarty's Trail is officially afoot — or a-paw, if you will.

Purrrfect deduction game!

It only came out in 2017 but somehow playing, Purrrlock Holmes: Furriarty's Trail again was like having dinner with an old and much-loved friend. SUCH a brilliant game by fellow-Toronto designer, Stephen Sauer, Purrrlock has players working together in a semi-cooperative way to defeat the evil mastermind (kitty), Furriarty by guessing the card displayed in the front of them. Clues that you get from other players will be about the animal on the card (there are 5 different animals) or the time on the card - and the time can be the exact number or one of the adjacent numbers either above or below. Hard to win and super clever and lots of fun!

Small but meaty

I got this by recomendation of Actualol. I love games like these that are small but meaty. You won’t regret getting it. Quick to table, easy to teach.
Great Viking theme game. I even saw a con posting for tourney of this game.

It should be called ‘Turf War’

Abstract, area control. We had a lot of fun playing it. This is all about attacking others and spreading out your buildings as much as you can. Too agressive/in the lead and you will be the target of everyone.

Great Game, Great Standalone Expansion

In addition to Bullet Heart, this game's a really tight realtime puzzle game that prioritizes a balance of quick thinking, character mastery, and risk-taking to succeed. There's a lot to love for players who are fans of Touhou and similar bullet hell titles, as it draws direct inspiration from those games and their PVP-style entries.

For players unfamiliar to Bullet, it's a game of absolute survival trying to clear incoming bullets from your opponents or the center bag as efficiently as possible while managing a small pool of AP and patterns with positional requirements as a resources. It's an elegant and fast-paced little game with lots of playstyles to choose from in the form of its characters.

There's also an excellent raid-style solo/co-op Boss Battle mode that feels pretty inspired by games like Tetris Effect: Connected.

An absolute recommend for people looking into this niche style of game.
