HIT ! is a press-your-luck game in which you draw cards to get points — but you don't want to draw too often because then you might lose all your gains!

In more detail, the 90-card deck contains eleven cards each numbered 1-5 and seven cards each numbered 6-10. On a turn, you flip over a card from the deck and place it in front of you, stealing (if you wish) all the cards of the same number that are in front of other players. You can stop after each draw, or you can draw another card. If you draw a number that you already have lying in front of you — and you have at least three cards in front of you — then you discard all cards in front of you from the game.

At the start of your turn, if you have cards in front of you, place them face down in a personal score pile, then start your turn. When the draw pile is exhausted, all players place all the cards they have in front of themselves in their score piles, then they tally the numbers on all their scored cards. Whoever has the highest sum wins.

On a player’s turn, they may perform one of the following six Actions:
1) GATHER REAGENTS
Just as there are seven schools of magic, there are seven magical reagents, or ingredients, that fuel the magic of Astoria. Knowing where these natural wonders can be found is the essential starting point for every young wizard. Sometimes they use familiars to perform this errand, but it is still very common to find even the most powerful arch-mages lurking in the Enchanted Wood, searching for the most pure reagents.

Play a Gather Reagents Card
Take Reagents shown on the ‘Gather Reagents’ half (plus any on your Wizard Cards)
Increase the value of the Reagents shown on the ‘Increase Value’ half
Cast one spell (if you have the necessary reagents)

2) CONVERT REAGENTS TO MANA
Long ago, the wizards of Astoria learned how to convert reagents into mana, the magical energy that powers all things. The process is no longer dangerous, but it still takes great focus and knowledge.

Turn in one type of reagents to the supply
Gain Mana = Value of that Reagent x Tokens turned in
Reduce the Value of that Reagent by the number of Tokens turned in

3) RECRUIT WIZARD
The Arch Mages of Astoria are vying for ultimate power, which can only be achieved by drawing several lesser wizards into their circle of influence. They do this through demonstrations of their magical ability. Occasionally, their attempts to recruit a wizard are challenged by one or more rivals, and a Wizard’s Duel occurs. These contests of magical power can drain even the most powerful mage.

Select one of the two Wizard Cards on offer and bid Mana in turn (or pass)
Winner of the Auction pays the bid and takes the Wizard Card
If the player who started the Auction didn’t win, they may take another Action

4) RESEARCH SPELL
Arch-Mages have the ability to learn spells from any of the seven schools of magic. Once they have researched a new spell, it still must be cast with reagents (and the help of a familiar) before it takes effect.

Place the Spell Card face down in front of you
Cast the Spell if you have the necessary Reagents

5) CREATE A TOWER
Magical Towers amplify the power of wizards of each school of magic. Towers may be created through powerful magic, or built by workers who must be paid.

Take the Tower Card and place it in front of you
Towers add ‘1’ to your storage for Reagents

6) SUMMON FAMILIAR:
Familiars are magical spirits that are summoned and inhabit the bodies of mortal creatures. They are essential servants who perform many vital services for wizards: They can be used for simple errands, such as gathering reagents or gold. They are the only ones who can locate the ever-shifting entrance to the famous Dungeons of Astoria. They are also essential assistants in the complex rituals required to cast spells.
Use the Card for one of four purposes:
a) Score one School of Magic (2 Gold/ Card of the same School of Magic as the Familiar)
b) Gather Reagents shown on the Familiar Card and Cast any number of Spells
c) Clear the Spell Offer, Replace them with four new Spell Cards and select one for free
d) Enter the Dungeon

Draw cards from the top of the Dungeon Deck, stopping when you want
Monster Cards ‘hit’; 2 hits = failure
If you stop before failure, keep the treasure cards and shuffle the monster cards back into the Dungeon Deck
If you fail, shuffle all drawn cards back into the Dungeon Deck

End Game and Scoring
The game will end when any one of the following decks is depleted: Familiar, Tower, Wizard, Spell.
When the game ends, the players will score points for each Wizard and Tower Card combo (10 VP if they are of the same school of magic, and 5 VP if they are not), 3 VP for each Spell Card in schools of magic where they have a matching Wizard and Tower, 1 VP/ Gold gathered from the dungeon or from scoring with a Familiar Card, and any points derived from the special abilities from spells.

To win Oxono, you must be the first player to line up 4 pieces of your colour or 4 pieces of the same symbol, orthogonally. At each turn, you take 2 actions: move a totem of your choice (X or O) as many squares as you like, but always in the same row (horizontally or vertically), then place one of your pieces with the same symbol as the totem played, on a free square orthogonally around the totem's new position. You can only move a totem if you still have pieces of the same symbol in reserve, otherwise you will be forced to play the other totem.

The most original aspect of Oxono is when a totem is completely surrounded. You can then play the totem over the surrounding pieces, and if you land on another encircled square, you can place your piece anywhere on the board. Note that you can use your opponent's colour to win by aligning symbols. The turnarounds are surprising for a game that lasts only 15 minutes and the replayability is maximum. The game feeling is very satisfying and the desire for revenge is immediate.

The ship bears many scars of its past tribulations, so any leftovers from your previous game will have effects on your Epilogue game.
An Epilogue game is much shorter than a regular Nemesis game, but it is more difficult and offers a very dynamic playthrough. Instead of Objectives, players have to deal with seemingly simple Personal Requirements, while trying to cooperate in order to cope with various Alerts. In addition, players pursuing more selfish inter- ests might accept the Lucrative Offer. The players also use the additional Shuttle board, which represents a new small ship (docked to the Nemesis) consisting of additional 4 Room slots. The Nemesis: Aftermath expansion also adds 4 new Rooms "2".
You can play the Epilogue game with less players than the number that actually participated in the regular game.

TRAITS
Nemesis: Aftermath adds a Trait card for each Character (both from the base game and the expansion). Trait cards gives specific advan- tages and disadvantages during the game. The Trait card is placed face up next to the Character board, and its rule is in effect for the rest of the game.

NEW CHARACTERS
Nemesis: Aftermath adds 5 new Characters to the game. When the players choose their Character, the Character draft card they select allows them to pick either the base game or the Aftermath character of a chosen color. For example, the red Aftermath Character (the Convict) can replace the red base game Character (the Soldier). After choosing their Character, each player keeps their selected draft card, preventing any other player to choose the other Character of the same color. The two red Characters (the Convict and the Soldier) can never be in the same game together. The Aftermath Characters are very different from the base game Characters.

Another Reiner Knizia standby, this game plays very well with varying numbers of people. The object is to accrue the most points during three rounds, which you do by spending your points to bid on sets of cards. Each turn the current player turns up one to three cards for all the players to bid on, with the highest bid taking all cards. The cards denote a commodity type and quantity/value. The round ends when each player's ships are full, or the commodity card deck is exhausted. After each round, points are awarded to each player having the most of a given commodity, and to the one with the most valuable total "cargo load".

In Mind Up!, you start with a line of cards on the table, with as many cards as players. Each turn, players pick a card from their hand and simultaneously reveal it to make a new line, ordered from the lowest to the highest card. Each player then takes the card in the previous line at the same position as the one they just played, adding it to their tableau. These cards will score points at the end of the round, depending on their color and the order they were picked. After being scored, they become the player's hand for the next round.
