The Marriage Mix-Up, title #9 in the Holiday Hijinks line, is an escape room style game in just 18 cards! As a group, you will solve a series of puzzles to unravel a mystery.

Puzzles may test your perception, wordplay, and lateral thinking. English language fluency is required.

This game is app-assisted. When you have solved a puzzle on the cards, you will enter the answer into the companion web app (compatible with all smart phones and computers) and it will check whether you are correct. If you are, the app will tell you which card or cards to take next. The app also contains a graduated hint system, so if you get stuck you can get just a small hint about the current puzzle to get moving again without giving too much away.

This system is non-desctructible: some groups may choose to write on cards, but this is not required. A group cannot re-play the game, but can pass it on to another group for their use.

This entry in the series takes about an hour to solve, and is rated 1 out of 3 in difficulty. You will need at least two players to solve the puzzles.

In Filler, players employ multi-use cards and a blend of simultaneous action selection, time and resource management, set-collection, and hand-building to collect ingredients needed to fill tasty pastries on their way to becoming the Star Baker.

Starting with a hand of three cards with various start times and basic ingredients, players choose a card to reveal along with other players to determine the turn order. The earliest player to show up for work goes first and so on around the table. Using cards from their hands (i.e., their pantry), players may use ingredients they have acquired to fill recipes from a central row of available cards (the recipe book) or restock the pantry by picking up all of their previously played cards. Each recipe filled provides new start times and ingredients to use in future rounds and may earn points that are represented by money, customer reviews, or critical acclaim at the end of the game. The availability of bonus points and cards containing special actions help to direct players' choices in the kitchen, add depth of play, and provide variety and replayability.

Stroop is a real-time observation game based on the psychological Stroop Effect, which is a phenomenon caused by different functions of the brain interfering with one another.

The cards in Stroop each display a single word. The words are printed in several colors (black, red, blue, and yellow), sizes (big and little), and styles (hollow and solid), and they have different numbers of letters (three, four, five, and six). The challenge is to read one word and quickly match it with the description of another word — without regard to what the second word says.

In the first round of the game, players are dealt an equal number of cards, and a card is turned face-up in the center of the table, forming the base of a pile. Players then race to find a card in their deck that the center card describes, and place this on top of the pile, changing the center card. Play continues until one player runs out of cards.

The second round of the game is similar to the first, except that the rule for eligible cards to play is reversed: now a card may be played only if its text describes the qualities of the card in the center. The player with the fewest cards remaining wins.
