Halli Galli Twist is played similar to Halli Galli, but with more possibilities for matches during play.

To start, divide the deck evenly among all players. Take turns revealing a card face up in front of you, covering whichever card you revealed previously. Cards feature candles, magic hats, potions, or chameleons in different numbers and colors, and if five symbols of the same color or type are ever visible on all the face-up cards, race to hit the bell in the center of the table. Whoever hits the bell first claims all revealed cards, placing them under their deck. If you hit the bell incorrectly, you pay the other players one card each.

When you run out of cards, you're out. When two players are left, they play until the bell is struck once more, then the game ends and the taller deck wins.

Halli Galli Junior is a speed action game in which players must ring a bell when they see two clowns of the same color.

During set-up, each player receives cards with clowns in nine colors. Most of them look happy, but some are unhappy. Hold your deck face down; deal one face up in front of you. As soon as you see two happy clowns of the same color, you hit the bell. If you're correct, you pick up all the played cards and put them into your deck. If you're wrong, pay the other players one card each. If you run out of cards, you're out. When only two players are left, they play until one of them hits the bell, then they resolve that and the player with the taller deck wins.

A kids card game where Mausi the Mouse visits her friends the goose, the cow, the horse, the rabbit and the pig and hides with one of them. Players have to guess where Mausi is hanging for the day, winning the card on which she's located if they do. Be the first to reveal cards with all five friends on them and you win.

The short description: Each player has five cards depicting the animal friends, and these are shuffled and placed face-down before the player. On a turn, the player rolls the die, flips an animal card in front of her, and hopes it shows the animal on the die; if so, the card stays revealed; if not, the card is flipped face-down again. Roll an animal that's already revealed, and you can flip a card of your choice. Roll the moon, and one of the timing cards is flipped. The game ends when one player finds all five friends or time runs out, in which case no one wins.

How to play Wo Ist Mausi?:

- The six-Mausi cards with the page "Mausi comes home" to the top placed in the middle of the table.
- Each player is dealt five cards with the same animal back color and places them with the back upwards before him.
- Whoever's turn it is throws an animal that needs to turn one of his cards. If it is he animal rolles on the die, the card is exposed.
- If there is a different animal, the card will once again be face down.

Haim Shafir's most famous game design, Halli Galli, includes one of the best-known game props in existence: a bell. Players both young and old love to hit the bell after spotting a winning combination, so it's no surprise to see the bell return in yet another Shafir design: Speed Cups, a.k.a. Quick Cups.

In this game, each player receives a set of five plastic cups, each a different color; a deck of 24 cards is shuffled and placed face down in the center of the table next to the bell. One player flips over the top card, which depicts colored objects – trains, birds, cups, etc. – stacked vertically or horizontally, then everyone tries to recreate this colored sequence with her own set of cups. The first player to do slams the bell, revels in the soul-brightening "ding", then (if correct), claims the card. Someone then reveals the next card, and the players start shuffling cups once again.

Once all the cards have been claimed, whoever holds the most cards wins!

Fruit Punch is a fruit-themed game where players have to collect Fruit cards to win the game. The deck contains 62 cards, which consist of Fruit and Animal cards.

In the beginning, each player is given 5 Fruit cards. The players take turns drawing card(s) from the draw pile until someone draws Mad Monkey. When that happens, the player is knocked out. However, the knocked-out player can still take action and gather points.

During their turn, players may either play a fruit card as an Action card or place it in their Field as a Point card. To end the turn, the player must draw at least 1 card from the pile. There's a big mess on the table! Who can clean up the cards the fastest, while also lining up cards that match one another?

In Connect the Thoughts – first released as Kuddelmuddel, which is German for "hodgepodge" – players try to put together chains of cards in order to score points. To set up the game, the players scatter the 80 cards in the deck face down on the table and place the bell within reach of all players. Everyone then simultaneously starts looking at face-down cards one by one. You can place the first card you see face up to start a row in front of you. To place another card next to this first one, whether on the left or right, the newly placed card must have at least one image in common with the card already in place.

As soon as a player has seven matching cards in a row, she rings the bell. If she goofed up, she sits out the round until another player creates a row; if she did everything correctly, she scoops up those cards and places them in a pile beside her while all other players reshuffle their cards into those that remain on the table.

The game ends whenever the last card is taken from the center of the table. Whoever has collected the most cards (i.e., rows) wins!

Memo Dice demands the full attention of players right from the start because they must remember which die faces have been hidden underneath the colorful cups.

The game includes nine six-sided dice that show 54 images across their faces with the sides being colored black, blue, or red. The starting player for the round rolls a die, gives everyone a chance to memorize the topmost face, then covers it with a die cup that matches the color of the face. In Speed Dice, players want to create words quickly from the letters that they roll on their dice.

To set up, each player takes eight letter dice in a single color; place the box with the dice funnel in the center of the playing area. In a round, all players roll their eight dice, then race to use exactly seven of them to create a single word or two words connected crossword-style.

Once they do this, they throw their final die into the box. If their die lands at the bottom of the funnel, they take the trophy disc (from the side of the table or from an opponent) and place it silver side up. If the player who won already has the silver trophy, they flip it to the gold side. If the player who won already has the gold trophy, then they win the game!

Schau mal! Was ist anders? — literally "Look! What's different?" — challenges players to spot differences in a line of five cards after looking away for a moment. Has someone turned the light on in the house? Does the boy have his cap on backwards now? And did that child have a monkey on her head previously?! Whoever discovers the differences first keeps the card in question.

Speed Cups² can be played on its own with two players, but it can also serve as an expansion for Speed Cups, which then allows for play with up to six players.

In this game, each player receives a set of five plastic cups, each a different color; a deck of 24 cards is shuffled and placed face down in the center of the table next to the bell. One player flips over the top card, which depicts colored objects – trains, birds, cups, etc. – stacked vertically or horizontally, then everyone tries to recreate this colored sequence with her own set of cups. The first player to do slams the bell, revels in the soul-brightening "ding", then (if correct), claims the card. Someone then reveals the next card, and the players start shuffling cups once again.

In Speed Cups² you don't only have to arrange your cups in horizontal and vertical stacks, but you also have to make different stacks!

There's a big mess on the table! Who can clean up the cards the fastest, while also lining up cards that match one another?

In Kuddelmuddel – German for "hodgepodge" – players try to put together chains of cards in order to score points. To set up the game, the players scatter the 80 cards in the deck face down on the table and place the bell within reach of all players. Everyone then simultaneously starts looking at face-down cards one by one. You can place the first card you see face up to start a row in front of you. To place another card next to this first one, whether on the left or right, the newly placed card must have at least one image in common with the card already in place.

As soon as a player has seven matching cards in a row, she rings the bell. If she goofed up, she sits out the round until another player creates a row; if she did everything correctly, she scoops up those cards and places them in a pile beside her while all other players reshuffle their cards into those that remain on the table.

The game ends whenever the last card is taken from the center of the table. Whoever has collected the most cards (i.e., rows) wins!

Piraten Kapern is the German version of the 2011 game Otsarot o Tsarot, published by Shafir Games in Hebrew and English.

As you might expect with a game titled Piraten Kapern, part of a line of combined dice-and-card games that publisher AMIGO Spiel introduced in 2012, players must set off in search of treasure, pushing themselves to find as much as possible without losing their heads.

At the start of a turn, the active player rolls the eight special dice. He must set aside any skulls rolled, and his turn ends immediately with no score if he rolls a third skull. The player is free to set aside any number of other dice, rerolling the rest. He may continue to do this until the skulls get him or he stops. He then scores for dice combinations, with a three-of-a-kind earning 100 points, a four-of-a-kind 200 points, and so on all the way up to an eight-of-a-kind earning 4,000 points. Each gold or diamond showing is worth 100 points on its own. A player earns a 500 point bonus if all eight dice score.

If a player rolls four or more skulls on his first roll, he heads to Skull Island for the turn, setting aside those skulls and continuing to roll as long as he sets aside at least one skull each time. Once he stops, all other players lose 100 points for each skull showing.

Before a player starts to roll for his turn, however, he draws a card from the pirate deck, which affects what's possible on that turn: He might score double for the treasure he collects, or need to roll sabers to fight off other pirates, or receive a free diamond or gold coin, or be able to score treasure even if he collect three skulls.

Once a player reaches 6,000 points, all other players take one final turn, then the player with the most points wins.
