In Zoomino, you want to frame as many animals as possible to display them in your zoo.

To set up, take eight frames in a single color, shuffle the dominoes face down on the table, then give each player two dominoes.

Each turn, each player places one domino in their play area and another face down in front of the player to their left. They then draw a domino from the table to have two in hand again.

You must place dominoes in your area horizontally and adjacent to other tiles to form at least one animal. If you create a real animal, frame it! If both backgrounds on the tile match the player color, use the solid side of the frame, which is worth 2 points; otherwise, use the multi-colored side worth 1 point.

When the draw pile is empty or someone has placed their eighth frame, the game ends. Players tally their points to see who wins, with a tie being broken in favor of the player with the most imaginary animals on a background of their color.

Locals and tourists in Maui are heading to the beach for a chance to find a nice spot to lay their towels and enjoy the amazing view of the Hawaiian ocean. In Maui, you want to find and place beachgoers on your sand so that they create pleasing patterns, while also placing their towels close to the ocean or under the shade of trees or umbrellas to earn the most points. However, getting too close to either of these areas is risky and might ruin their plans!

In the game, you have your own beach board with room for 13 towels, the board has seven rows in which towels can be placed, and during set-up, you randomly place eight umbrellas in designated locations on your board. Each player places one random towel in the left most column of their board; each towel has three different patterns on it. Place six random tiles in the two rows of the market and one sand dollar in each row.

On a turn, either take all the sand dollars from either row of the market or take a towel from the market; towels cost 0, 1, or 2 sand dollars, with those dollars being placed in the market row. When you place a towel, you must match at least one pattern with the towel that's rightmost on your beach board and you want to match as many patterns as possible. For each match you make, you advance that pattern's scoring marker 1-3 spaces on the score board; the closer to the ocean or the shade the more points you score, but if you place part of a towel outside the play area, you're penalized.

If you cover an umbrella, you receive its bonus, whether that's advancing a pattern's scoring marker or receiving one of two types of pearls.

When someone places a towel in the final column of their beach board, you complete the round, then see who's scored the most points from patterns, pearls, and leftover sand dollars, which are each worth a point. Instead of playing with umbrellas, you can flip your beach board to find a septet of sand crabs. Whenever you cover a crab with a towel, the crab crawls onto that portion of the towel, costing you both that pattern and a few points.

In the valley of Herens in A Fistful of Daisies, cows fight one another to win succulent flowers, then get back to the cowshed first.

Each cow player starts with a board showing flowers that they want to eat. On a turn, one player rolls the dice, then each player drafts a die in turn. Players then take turns moving their cows, and if they end their movement in a flower field matching a color they want to eat, then they take a token and cover one of those colored spaces on their board. If they land where another cow is located, they must duel! Roll the cows to see who ends up showing more spots; whoever wins collects clover tokens equal to the number of spots you rolled, and as soon as you have at least four clover, you had in four to cover a flower of your choice.

Whoever first covers all their flowers, then returns to the cowshed from which they started movement on this circular board wins.

"Hagakure", a term meaning "in the shadow of the leaves" or "hidden in the foliage", is a practical and spiritual guide for Japanese warriors that's also known as "The Book of the Samurai".

The game Hagakure is a trick-taking design for 3-5 players in which you try to score more points than any other player. The deck consists of thirty cards: villagers numbered 1-17, samurai numbered 18-27, and three "old fools" who have no numbers. (With 3-4 players, you remove cards 1-5 and 23-27 from the game.)

At the start of each round, you deal 4-5 cards to each player, then place the remaining 4-5 cards in a pile called "Goze". Each player starts with five "Nobori" tokens, each of which has a special power, and a player can choose to play exactly one of these tokens after looking at their cards. These tokens let you look at another player's hand, swap your hand with the Goze, double your points, etc.

The lead player plays a card from their hand, then each player follows, with the highest card played winning the trick, then leading to the next trick. If a samurai (a red card) is played, then each other player must play a samurai, if possible. Otherwise the game has no required plays. An "old fool" played on its own is worthless, but if a second or third "old fool" is played into a trick, then the player of the last such card wins the trick.

Players earn 1 point for each trick won and 1 point for capturing the 16. A player who took no tricks loses 2 points. After 5-9 rounds, depending on the player count, whoever has the most points wins.
