London, 1849. The cholera epidemic of the last two years has overrun the city’s ability to inter the dead. A new cemetery must be built to handle the needs of London for the indefinite future, outside of the city limits - far enough away that growth won’t be an issue. The only way to transport the deceased and their loved ones to the cemetery is by train. This new system needs to be designed and you and your fellow planners have been tasked with submitting proposals. The most successful design will be awarded the contract by the city and your name will be listed among the great planners of history.

Each turn, you will choose a card and take the 2 associated action discs. You will then activate 1-3 of the actions on the card, spending the discs of the matching colors, to improve your London Terminus, the Brookwood Necropolis, and/or the Railway that connects the two. You will need to manage your money, your staff, and make sure you can keep pace with your improvements in each section. In addition, you can spend action discs to improve the prestige of your system, in order to gain more points for your London improvements.

Points come primarily from two areas: how prestigious you’ve made the London Terminus and how well you’ve filled the Necropolis. After 12 rounds, the player with the most points wins.

The citizens of the Empacta skies long for the days where everyone, not just the wealthy, can ditch their masks and breathe the precious air that they call their home.

As an industrialist, you will collect dust particles from the air and water vapor from the clouds to convert to hydrogen and oxygen.

By collecting, converting and selling these precious resources, you can provide your family with the breathing room that you need to keep your business afloat and go home at night knowing you made a difference to the world with fresh air.

In Ahead in the Clouds, each player can take three actions each turn. Options are either taking/converting resources via connected buildings or Cloudbursting, which is breaking up the established network of buildings. Players can also take free actions during their turn to claim contracts to gain victory points, or connect their habitat to other buildings. Players must also be ready for the blimp from below, which comes every couple of rounds to take resources back down to the land dwellers.

After 8 rounds, the player with the most contracts wins.

Dead Man's Cabal is a mid-weight strategy game from Daniel Newman, with game development from Jonathan Gilmour (Dead of Winter, Dinosaur Island). In the game, 2-4 players compete to bring the dead back to life so that they can throw a party with actual, you know, guests.

The gameplay is a clever interplay of a unique action selection mechanism that allows players to choose both a private action followed by a group action, requiring tense decision-making on the timing of the different phases of the game. Collect bodies, crystal skulls, and runes, then bring the dead back to life. This might sound simple enough, but triggering the actions in just the right order requires careful planning to make sure you aren't helping your competitors more than yourself.
