Letter Tycoon is the word game for 2-5 capitalists!

In the game, players take turns forming a word using a seven-card hand and a three-card community card pool, scoring money and stock rewards based on their word. Players may use their earned money to buy one letter "patent" in the word they make. In the future, whenever another player uses one of your owned letters on their turn, you earn money from the bank. Letters that are used less frequently have special abilities, increasing their power.

When enough of the alphabet has been claimed, players finish the current turn, then score all money, stock and letter patents owned. Create the most valuable empire and you can become the letter tycoon!

In ancient prehistoric times, you have discovered a new land with plentiful lakes, mountains and forests (and apparently many stone rocks that shall be called dice). Your people can develop new things like basketry or find oxen or simply grow and conquer.

In Rise of Tribes, players control a tribal faction in prehistoric times that's looking to grow, move, gather, and lead their people. The board is modular, composed of hexes in various terrain types. Each turn you roll two dice, and may select from four actions. The power of your action depends on your die roll PLUS the last couple of dice on that action card. Victory is possible in a couple ways: gathering resources to build villages and/or completing development and achievement goals for your civilization.

Aloha: The Spirit of Hawaii is about the story of Hawaii from the Polynesian migrations all the way through its journey to U.S. statehood in 1959. It's a game in which the theme and the mechanisms of play really tie together. You will guide your Pure Hawaiians, emigrating and settling in the Prologue. In the three main chapters of the game, you will migrate from island to island, vying for control of the islands and their resources such as commerce, aloha and people. You will be able to play event cards based on the history of the islands, and you will elect chiefs and kings and a even a queen. Between chapters you will score victory points and generate the actions necessary for success in the next chapter. In the Epilogue, all of your planning will come to fruition as you try to become elected governor, the most valuable position in the game.

The game takes 10-15 minutes to learn, and 60-90 minutes to play. It is recommended for ages 10 and higher. It plays well for 2,3 or 4 players due to the scaling of the scoring – to keep all the games tight and fast paced. The theme is inviting and a great experience for hobby gamers and those just getting into euro-style games.
