At the edge of our solar system, a dark planet may lurk. In 2015, astronomers estimated a large distant planet could explain the unique orbits of dwarf planets and other objects. Since then, astronomers have been scanning the sky, hoping to find this planet.

The Search for Planet X is a board game from Foxtrot Games. Players take on the role of astronomers, using observations and logical deductions to search for this hypothetical planet. Each game, the companion app randomly selects an arrangement of objects and a location for Planet X following predefined logic rules.

Each round, as the earth travels around the sun, players will use the app to perform scans and attend conferences. As they gain information about the location of the objects, they'll mark that information on their deduction sheets. As players learn the locations of the various objects, they can start publishing theories. This is the way that players score points.

As more and more objects are found, players will narrow down the possible locations for Planet X. Once a player believes they know its location and the objects on either side of it, they use the app to conduct a search. The game ends when a player successfully locates Planet X, and all players have a final chance to score some additional points.

The Search for Planet X captures the thrill of discovery, the puzzly-nature of astronomical investigation, and the competition inherent in the scientific process. Can you be the first to find Planet X?

Between Two Cities is a 30-minute tile-drafting game for 1-7 players in which each tile is part of a city. This is a new and improved version, now titled Microbrewers. There are three main differences between the new Microbrewers and the original Brew Crafters Travel Card Game.

First, we've added two new card types: The Research Lab and the Tasting Room. The Research Lab encourages you to brew specialty beers that use fruit and coffee and balances out the number of worker and equipment cards in the game.

The Tasting Room scores you end-game points for having a variety of different ingredients showing on your brewery upgrades. Adding these two new card types means you’ll see a greater variety of cards in your hand, making the decision about which card to play on each turn more interesting.

Second, instead of passing being the third option for the main action of your turn, you now have the option to draw 1 additional card, meaning you can add 3 cards to your hand on your turn instead of 2. This can be crucial late in the game, giving you the 1 additional card you need to make an epic brew or install a critical brewery upgrade on your last turn.

Third, the game lasts one additional round. Now, when the game's end is triggered, players finish the final round and play one more full round. This provides a more satisfying feeling of completion. It allows you to better plan for the end of the game and avoids the game ending abruptly without giving you the chance to take a final turn.

Homebrewers is an engine-building and dice-trading game. Your dice represent the actions you can take, such as buying ingredients, participating in monthly events, adding flavors to your recipes, and of course, brewing beer! Homebrewers is played over eight months (eight rounds). Each month, you meet with the homebrewing club one weekend (trade phase) and take actions the other weekends (action phase).

You'll be crafting your own unique beer recipes in four categories (Ale, Porter, Stout, and IPA). Each time you brew a particular recipe, your quality level for that recipe increases.

You gain reputation in two main ways. First, by moving up the quality tracks for the four beer categories in order to win medals at Summerfest and Octoberfest, and second, by crafting your recipes to meet the particular tastes of a panel of judges at Octoberfest.

Remnants takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. Each player builds a compound and fights to survive raiders and mutant creatures. The game is played in five phases: Scavenge, Build, Fight, Heal, and Clean-up. In the Scavenge phase, you send survivors into the Badlands to roll dice in a real-time race for resources. In the Build phase, you take turns spending those resources to buy weapon, defense, and special development cards that enhance your compound. A position central to the crew's mission, the Astronautical Engineer must be resourceful and efficient in his construction of various mechanisms and ship maintenance.

In Mars Needs Mechanics, players represent engineers and tinkerers from all over the Empire who have come to compete for this prodigious opportunity.
