A niche storage solution that likely won't replace a standard deck box for board game storage

Purchased these to store mini american/mini euro cards as well as to store large numbers of standard size card piles I use in a dungeon crawler game.

These deck boxes are much deeper than standard 80ct top loader deck boxes; while this is good for holding additional cards and can even work as an all-in-one storage solution for smaller games, this can be an issue if you're constrained for space in the original game box.

I found the included card divider to be too tall - the only way to use it effectively if filling the deck box to capacity is to bend it's top over.

The "Cobra Neck" side loading mechanism works reasonable well; I haven't had these for very long, so it's difficult to gauge how these will perform over time. The side loading nature of the box makes this a viable option for storing mini american or mini euro sleeved cards, but you might need to add some sort of cardboard divider to ensure they remain seperated.

One issue I encountered was that some standard sized sleeved cards (Sleeve Kings Card Game size in my case) may have clearance issues if stored at either end of the box; I found the top of the card sleeve would bend over time. While this isn't necessarily the end of the world, I try to minimize wear on my sleeved cards to make shuffling easier.

Overall, I would consider this a niche storage solution for certain use cases, but in general I would choose standard top loading deck boxes as a cheaper, more compact, storage solution for standard size cards.
