Beacon Patrol: Ships & Shores

You are captains of the Coast Guard. Together you check beacon buoys and lighthouses to ensure the safety of the North Sea coast.

You place your tiles next to tiles that are already on layed out, move your ships and explore the sea.

Your goal is to explore as many tiles as possible. A tile is considered explored when it’s connected to other tiles on all four of its sides.

Beacon Patrol is a coop tile laying exploration game in which you navigate the coast of the northsea to secure its beacon buoys, lighthouses and waterways.

It's a pretty game. Only played solo mode so far but it plays nicely

Great Evening Chill Co-op Game!

Beacon Patrol, is a fantastic co-op game that is extremely easy to learn and play. A great tile laying game for those who enjoy tile laying. I really enjoy the theme and ease of entry, my partner and i have been playing most evenings to keep bettering our score. Its a great game to wind down an evening. Highly recommend. It also, comes with a mini expansion for more variety.

Beacon Patrol

A little relaxing game that is enjoyable solo or with others. More strategy than you'd first expect. Thumbs up!

Cute but chunky strategy game

I bought this game based on reviews on YouTube and was expecting a much more laid-back experience than what I got. The game is a lot more strategic than I was lead to believe, and was actually pretty difficult. I played with the max 4 people, and building the map while following the rules was quite tricky. Even when working together, it took us roughly 2 hours to finish a round even though the box says play time is around 30 minutes.

I still had a lot of fun with the game, but it just wasn't what I was expecting at all. Maybe playing solo mode will give me the more relaxed experience I had in mind, so I will try that out next. But all in all, I think it's a great yet simple strategy game to play if you enjoy those.
