Dastardly bandits have stolen Mountain Valley’s gold. They’re escaping on the train to the city and have hidden the gold nuggets in the passengers’ luggage... You decide to ride to the rescue in your stagecoach and help your friend Sam, the Marshal’s son, get back the gold.
We're relying on you, kids. We've got to snatch the loot from the clutches of the bandits!
In Kids Express, you take turns. On your turn, follow the two steps below:
– Step 1
You can move your Kid standee OR shoot with Sam.
– Step 2
You must pick up 1 Baggage token from where your figurine is located, and then apply the effect of this token.
Step 1 in detail
Move your Kid standee: Take your Kid standee and place it in the Train car of your choice, so long as there are no Bandits in that location.
OR
Shoot with Sam: Move the Sam standee. Use your Player Aid board to position Sam closer to or farther away from the Train and then place the Slingshot on the platform and flick or use a finger to hit it toward 1 or more Bandits, aiming to knock them over.
Step 2 in detail
Pick up an item of Luggage AND apply its effect : Take 1 Luggage token from the stack in the location your Kid standee is in. Turn it over and apply its effect. Keep it in front of you (Unless otherwise specified.)
The game ends immediately as soon as 1 of the stacks of Luggage tokens RUNS OUT.

Five Clan Trays keep all miniatures related to the each clan, Command cards, Tea Track and Honor Markers. Deluxe edition includes these trays stained in the matching clan color.
Four Tokens tray holds Wood, Stone, Gold, Chi tokens, Wound markers, Shame tokens, and Barricades. A clear plastic lid keeps the tokens in place. 
Three Medium Card trays keep medium size cards and can be easily pulled out the box and placed on the table. Engravings on each tray help quickly find the necessary cards. Card sleeves are supported up to 96x70 mm @100 mkm. Premium sleeves (100 mkm) are pictured. 
Two Large Card trays and one Small card tray keep large and small cards respectively. Engravings on each tray help quickly find the necessary cards. Card sleeves are supported up to 135x87 mm @100 mkm (large cards) and 75x66 @100 mkm (small cards). Premium sleeves (100 mkm) are pictured.
Solo card tray keep large and small cards for solo play. Card sleeves are supported up to 130x83 mm @100 mkm (large cards) and 83x67 @100 mkm (small cards). Premium sleeves (100 mkm) are pictured.
Ancient Beast tray holds Beast miniatures and the small cards from this expansion. Card sleeves are supported up to 83x67 @100 mkm. Premium sleeves (100 mkm) are pictured.
War Machine and Siege Machine trays hold war and siege machine miniatures form the Black Powder expansion. Iron Dragon Tray holds Iron Dragon miniature, Genghis Khan miniature, Rat miniature, and Emperor’s Award.
Card tray keeps all cards from the base game and the expansions. Cards are sorted by the Age number with each expansion separately within the Age. Additional section of the tray assigned for the Leaders cards and the Island cards separated by their level. Just pull out the tray and place it on the table.
Two tokens trays store coins, Military conflict tokens, Debt tokens, and Naval conflict tokens . Two trays ensure that players on both sides of the table can easily reach the tokens. The curved tray bottom helps take the tokens out of the tray. A clear plastic lid keeps the tokens and tiles in place. Engravings on each section of the tray help return tokens to their place after the game.
Ship tray keeps Fleet figures, Diplomacy tokens, and Boarding tokens. Engravings on the tray bottom lists components stored in this tray.
Tokens tray keeps Eggs, Coins, Meat, Gold, Crystal, and Milk cardboard tokens. Insted of the cardboard tokens this tray can fit Wyrmspan Upgrade Pack which includes Metal coins and Wooden Resources. This tray can be pulled out the box to provide easy access to the tokens for the players. A clear plastic lid keeps the tokens in place.
Six Card trays hold Dragon cards (4 trays), Cave cards, and Automa cards along with Quick start quide. Card sleeves are supported up to 92x68 mm @100 mkm (Dragon cards), 92x65 mm @100 mkm (Automa, Quick start guide cards) or 61x65 mm @100 mkm (Cave cards). Mayday premium sleeves (Standard USA Chimera size) are pictured. 
Objective tray fits Objective tiles, Round marker, Multiplier tokens, and Start Player marker. Dragon Guild tiles and Score pad goes on top of this tray.
Five player trays hold wooden player pieces. A clear plastic lid keeps the pieces in place. These trays are available in Deluxe variant. Deluxe trays are stained in the matching color.
The Card holder stores bird cards and two sets of the custom dice. This card tray supports cards with sleeves up to 100 microns for both the base game and the expansion. It can be easily pulled out of the box and placed onto the table.
Two tokens trays ensure that players on both sides of the table can easily reach the food and egg tokens. The trays support GeekUp Bit Set: Wingspan and Wingspan Food upgrade kit by Meeple Source. The curved tray bottom helps take the tokens out of the tray. A clear plastic lid keeps the tokens in place during transportation and storage. 
Bonus card tray fits bonus cards, Automa cards, and the goal tiles.
Action markers are stored in the Action markers tray. This tray supports our 3D printed action markers.
